Social Media Policy - Magnovent Indonesia

1. Purpose and Scope

This policy explains how Magnovent Indonesia ("we") uses, manages, and interacts through official accounts on various social media platforms, and how we protect the personal data of users (followers, customers, and other parties) who interact with us.

This policy applies to all official Magnovent Indonesia accounts on the following platforms:

  • Facebook
  • Instagram
  • LinkedIn
  • YouTube
  • Pinterest
  • TikTok (if any)

This policy is prepared based on Law Number 11 of 2008 on Information and Electronic Transactions (ITE Law), Government Regulation Number 71 of 2019 on the Implementation of Electronic Systems and Transactions, and Ministry of Communication and Information Regulation Number 20 of 2016 on Personal Data Protection.

2. Management and Responsibility

Magnovent Indonesia social media accounts are managed by the Marketing & Communications Department of PT Magnovent Indonesia.

We use social media to:

  • Provide product and service information
  • Interact with customers and potential customers
  • Conduct promotional activities, campaigns, and education
  • Deliver official announcements or company information

If you follow or interact with our accounts on social media, it means you understand that your data and public activities on that platform may be visible to other users according to your own privacy settings.

3. Personal Data and User Privacy

We do not collect or process user personal data outside of social media platforms, unless you provide such data voluntarily through private messages, forms, or other official channels (such as WhatsApp, email, or our website).

Data that may be visible through social media (such as name, profile photo, or public comments) remains the responsibility of each user according to the privacy policy of the platform used.

We refer to the privacy policies of each of the following platforms:

We encourage positive, polite, and relevant interaction on all our official channels. However, users are fully responsible for the content they publish (comments, images, links, videos, or other materials).

We reserve the right to delete or report content deemed to:

  • Contain hate speech, harassment, discrimination, or violence
  • Violate laws, moral norms, or intellectual property rights
  • Contain irrelevant promotions or spam
  • Spread others' personal information without permission

We are not responsible for the content, opinions, or information published by other users on our page or comment sections.

5. Promotions, Contests, and Marketing Activities

We may hold promotions, contests, or campaign activities through our official social media accounts.

Each activity will have separate terms and conditions that will be clearly announced on the relevant platform.

Social media platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, or LinkedIn do not act as organizers, sponsors, or responsible parties for these activities, unless officially stated.

We may use the direct message feature to:

  • Answer user questions
  • Provide additional information about products
  • Confirm customer data relevant to specific services or follow-up

We will not request sensitive data (such as passwords, credit card numbers, or OTP codes) through private messages.

Avoid providing personal information to other accounts claiming to be Magnovent other than verified official accounts.

7. User Rights

You have the right to:

  • Know what data we have and how it's used
  • Request deletion or correction of data you've provided
  • Withdraw consent for the use of personal data at any time
  • Report suspected data misuse to us

8. Security and Data Protection

We are committed to maintaining user information security in accordance with industry standards and laws and regulations in Indonesia.

Any data received from users will be stored and used only for legitimate purposes and in accordance with the consent given.

9. Policy Changes

This policy may be updated at any time without prior notice to adjust to applicable regulations or internal company policies.
